DECEMBER 20, 2024 – Yellow Point Equity Partners V LP (“Fund V” or the “Fund”) is pleased to announce the closing of an investment in Rextag, a leading energy infrastructure data provider.
Rextag is a leading provider of mapping and data solutions for energy infrastructure assets in North America. The company licenses mission-critical Geographic Information System (GIS) and other data to a wide range of customers, including those in upstream, midstream, downstream, electrical and renewables sectors, as well as banking, finance, government, NGOs, and engineering services.
The Fund is pleased to be partnering with Jon Kennedy, the former CEO of Glacier Media, as incoming CEO of Rextag. Reinold (Rey) Tagle, Rextag’s founder, will continue in his role as president, leading day-to-day operations.
