JANUARY 8, 2024 – Yellow Point Equity Partners V LP (“Fund V”) is pleased to announce the closing of an investment in LOGISTEC Corporation (“LOGISTEC”) in connection with a take-private transaction led by Blue Wolf Capital Partners (“Blue Wolf”)”), a middle market private equity firm specializing in the industrial and healthcare sectors, and a group of senior executives with extensive marine terminal experience led by Sean Pierce, newly appointed Chief Executive Officer. LOGISTEC is a provider of specialized marine and environmental services, operating through two primary segments:
• Marine Services is a North American terminal operator providing bulk, break bulk, cargo handling and related services, such as warehousing and transloading across 90 terminals at 60 ports.
• Environmental Services, which primarily operates as Sanexen, is a provider of environmental solutions, including underground water main rehabilitation and contaminated site remediation.
