Joe D’Addario and his partners established their Toronto-area organic and natural grocery chain in 1993, long before Canadians had heard of Whole Foods. In 2021, they were looking to bring in a new partner and some fresh ideas and were introduced to Yellow Point.
Aligned on Values
“There’s a lot of humanity with Yellow Point. They resonate with your culture, your business ethics, the way you do things. They’re people that don’t just care about the money. They want to make a difference. That was very important for us too.”
Integrity & Respect
“They have integrity. They value us as being the founders of the business. They respect and show appreciation for what we’ve done. There’s humility there. They don’t come across as knowing better. They respect that we’ve built a great business, and it shows.”
