March 31, 2013 – CIMS LP (“CIMS”), a portfolio company of Yellow Point Equity Partners III LP (“Yellow Point”), has completed the acquisition of Kamtech Services Inc. (“Kamtech”). Founded over 40 years ago, Kamtech is an industrial maintenance and construction company with operations throughout western Canada. The company draws on its deep expertise to complete projects on time and budget for a variety of customers in the pulp and paper, energy, mining and agriculture sectors.
The acquisition combines the leadership and bench strength of CIMS and Kamtech to create a dynamic and responsive company that can handle any project regardless of size and complexity. The combined entity is 100% Canadian-owned and supports Canada-wide operations from its facilities in Saskatoon, Edmonton, Rossland/Trail and Vancouver.
